The lessons includes all levels of music starting from rhythms and grooves, harmony, style understanding, expression and improvisation. I enjoy the lessons tremendously and I feel I had a fast learning curve thanks to Gabriel. My daughters and I are fortunate to be taking piano lessons from Gabriel for nearly three years now and to consider him a family friend. The girls started through their school and we soon realized Gabriel was not a music teacher but rather a rare combination of an accomplished musician in his prime who is willing to teach even young children and beginners. The following year I joined the girls and the three of us have been taking weekly classes since. Being able to take classes from a real performing musician, and taking the girls to see Gabriel perform live with various ensembles greatly affected their attitude towards music, and mine as well, the girls are picking up Latin Jazz and Cuban Salsa numbers from an international level master, as well as level appropriate renditions of whatever song they can think up, always with infinite patience. I get to pick up the piano in my forties, knowing my time is expertly managed with the right tasks and endless knowledge and skill to advance me as quickly as I can take it in.
